Yea dilaudid!

The Beja is doing better all the time. Today, the neck line was removed which seems to be a very big deal, and precipitated a brief return to dilaudid. Percocet now. She is walking a little and eating a very little and barfing a bit. But,keeps getting better and better. We are on track to go home this weekend if nothing unexpected happens.
Most importantly, the loot is rolling in with a special bear she is now hugging to her incision.

She is not quite phoneworthy but wants me to thank those of you who have been so supportive. She will be in touch soon. I am reading your posts to her. Momja

Glad to hear you're doing well! But more importantly, hope your braids still look fabulous. Love love love love you.

Becca, we are so glad that you are progressing so quickly. Your dad and I both agree that we would have to be shot before we went through what you have just experienced. The older Hudson generation is made up of a bunch of sissies when it comes to any pain. I know that you and your mom and dad will be glad to get home to your own beds and refrigerator full of good food. Hang in there and know that we are pulling for you and love very much. Love, Aunt Sherry

A was attached to my "coughing pillow" like glue after my last surgery - having something to hug while coughing is very important.... because the coughing is very important to keep your lungs healthy & get all the crud out (or at least not settling). Not fun, but very necassary.
